Thanks NRA - AK HR381

If you haven't already, write to your State Senator. Not many folks are active in State politics so your one letter can actually have an impact. From the NRA-ILA:

Self-Defense Reform Bill Heads to Senate Floor!

Today, Friday, April 16, House Bill 381 passed the Senate Judiciary Committee. The bill now heads to the Senate Floor for consideration. HB381 passed the House yesterday by a vote of 32-8.

Simply stated, HB381, introduced by State Representative Mark Neuman (R-15), would remove the duty to retreat in Alaska. Under this bill, Alaskans would have the right to use force, including deadly force, for self-defense anywhere they have a right to be.
