In other words:
1) Discussion entails agreeing with me and my supporters. If you don't agree with us then you are mean and rude.
2) If you are mean and rude then the mature response is for me to also be mean and rude.
Isn't that kind of childish? I was taught that if someone is mean or rude to you, generally an appropriate response does NOT involve sinking to their level.
